When I click certain icons on your download page, why do the applications sometimes launch instead of being downloaded?
If you are using either a Netscape or Microsoft Web browser, your MIME settings may cause the
application to launch instead of downloading. To download a file using a Netscape browser,
press the Shift key while clicking the icon. To download a file using Microsoft Internet Explorer,
right-click the icon.
How do I get support for the product that I just downloaded?

There is no official support for free or trial products.
What network protocols are used for downloads?
Two network protocols will be available for downloading images. You will have to choose
between the Download Director or HyperText Transport Protocol (HTTP) protocols. Follow
these links for FAQs on
Download Director and
HTTP downloads.
Do you recommend using a modem to download some of the larger products on your site?

download time over a modem is determined by how fast your modem can receive data. We
provide estimates of download times on our site for different connection speeds.
